I would like to thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced in trying to contact me over the last three months. At times, I know I have been difficult to reach either on the phone or via e-mail. Sometimes, it has taken me longer to respond to your inquiry than either of us would have liked. I would like to take just a few lines to tell you what has been happening in my life over the last year.
Last December, a sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation complaint was filed against the Manager of the local Nations Home Funding office by one of the employees. The complaint was investigated by the Michigan Department of Civil Rights, NHF corporate management and local company attorneys. Eventually, the Manager resigned, an out of court settlement was reached and the local NHF office was closed. My role was as a witness, mediator, peacemaker, and probably most importantly friend. During the extended investigation, the office work environment became unbearable and stress levels were high for everyone involved. I do not regret my efforts to try to help to find a resolution to the office situation, but I do apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused you.
In September, I was blessed with an opportunity to join Priority Mortgage in Grandville. At Priority Mortgage, I have been able to return to my basic business philosophy in a very supportive atmosphere. Once again I will be able to invest 100% of my time delivering First Class Service to my clients. I will be able to focus on building strong, life-long relationship one person at a time.
I would like to send a special thank you to my Realtor partners and clients that were so supportive and patient during the transition period. Thank you Jim, Ron, Meg, Cynthia, Sandy, Deb, Doug and Bill for your loyalty during the transition.
