I think most people have a favorite restaurant. It is that one special place you always enjoy. The food is excellent, but it is much more than just the food. It is the atmosphere, service, setting and experience that make it special. My favorite restaurant is called The Magic Island located on the southwest side of Houston, Texas. Just a few hundred feet from a busy freeway, you are transported to the world of the Nile, the land of Aladdin’s lamp and the magic of Houdini.
As soon as you drive into the enclosed courtyard, you are isolated from the hustle and bustle of Houston and transported to a “magical island”. The valet opens the door of your car, the doorman swings open the giant entrance doors engraved with the images of the pharos and you enter a magical world. The glass elevator, behind the cobra, opens to take you upward through a display of artifacts to the main dining area. As the doors of the glass elevator open, you are greeted by your host and escorted to your dining hall. Each individual dining hall is decorated with replicas of ancient Egyptian artifacts and creates a relaxed atmosphere of Victorian England. The staff is attentive but unobtrusive. They truly understand how to let you relax and enjoy your experience, but be attentive to your every need. The food is sumptuous, gourmet cuisine. If you are a seafood lover, start with “Seafood Magic”. But it is so much more than the food!!!!
It is about the magic!!!!!! The evening includes an hour long theatre production in the Palace of Tutankhamun featuring master illusions, with a touch of comedy, by some of the World’s Greatest Magicians. If you are lucky you might even get to participate in the show. During the time I lived in Texas and was a semi-regular at the Island, I often had my guest invited to “pick a card”, “cut a rope” or just look beautiful on stage. For me the highlight of the evening follows the main performance. You are invited to visit the Gallery of Ramese or Cheop’s Sanctum for a display of close-up magic. You gather with a small group around a table to be mystified by close-up slight of hand. No matter how many times Scott, the master house magician, bends a penny in my hand, I have never figured out the trick. I guess it must be magic!!!!
We strive to make your experience purchasing your home as memorable as an evening at your favorite restaurant. Like other high quality lender, we have excellent interest rates (food) and full range of mortgage options (menu), but our uniqueness is our goal to guide you through the mortgage process and to try to make your experience just as pleasant as an evening at the Magic Island. I know that is a high standard, but our continued success depends on our ability to provide the type of experience that encourages you to tell your friends, relatives and co-workers about us. Just as I have rarely had anyone visit the Magic Island at my recommendation not enjoy the experience, we will strive to provide a World Class Experience to the people you refer to us.
Thank you,
