How many E’s does it take to design a website? The correct answer is 7 with a very special person to make it all happen. You need someone who can take what you see in your head appear in reality. I would like to introduce and recommend Brent Belanger of e7 Consulting to help you make your vision come to life. Before I tell you about Brent, let me tell you about what drives his business and is symbolized by e7 (ethics, esteem, empathy, experience, education, explore and enjoyment).
Ethics: conduct business in a moral demeanor
Esteem: be positive and encourage others to succeed.
Empathy: really care about the people and the work you do for them.
Experience: learn from your experiences, whether positive or negative in nature, there is something there to be learned.
Education: don’t be afraid to teach others what you know.
Explore: be willing to try new things and hear others ideas.
Enjoyment: you must enjoy what you do or it’s not worth doing.
When I was looking for someone to help me with my website, I asked a trusted friend for a recommendation. He unconditionally recommended Brent and he was right! I had been through a couple of unsuccessful attempts to get my site started, largely because I tried to do stuff myself or worked with people of limited experience or education. I wanted to be sure I had the right person this time. If you check out the end product at www.WestMichiganMortageHelp.com you will see the quality of the site he produced. Whenever, I had a concept I wanted to execute, Brent showed me examples of how he could make it happen. He never spoke to me in “Computer Geek”, and always listened to my ideas. I wanted to provide you an easy, clear method to refer information to your friends, relatives and co-workers. He showed me how we could make the website function so that it was easy to e-mail a clear page or print what looked like a “fancy” document. (Please trying e-mailing a “printer-friendly” version or printing a PDF version.). At times I knew we needed to improve a section, but didn’t know how to proceed. For example, check out how easy it is to navigate around the West Michigan Community Information section. I had started with just a very long list. Thanks Brent.
Brent is not just a web designer. He is just as passionate about his love of hockey and soccer. If he is not working, you are just as likely to see him at the ice rink or on the soccer field. If he is not competing himself, he will be teaching the skills and sportsmanship of the game to the youth of West Michigan. If you need someone to help you turn your vision into reality, please contact Brent Belanger at e7 Consulting. We have a link to www.e7consulting.com from our website.
